At Atmospheres our job is to use all the tools at our disposal, to create a space that looks and feels like a beautiful reflection of the people who inhabit it. And furthermore, it is important to us that we create a space that works in a way that it manifests ease and pleasure for those using that space.                     

 

With this goal in mind we attend to all aspects great and small, to bring you a design that is all you have dreamed of, and even more!  

 

Kris Hanson, the founder of Atmospheres, has been passionate about interior design from a young age. She can remember sketching out floor plans of her family’s house when she was in grade school. Her parents got a big kick out of her grand plans for house additions and remodels. Luckily her mother was an avid decorator and trained architect, so some of those plans did come to life, but just on a more realistic scale than those childhood grandiose dreams. 

These days, Kris is bringing that same passion to her clients projects. It is very important to her to truly understand the goals and dreams of her clients, and she works tirelessly to bring those dreams to life all within the reality of budgets and timelines. 

Kris is known for her creative problem solving, unique design approach, and the ability to infuse each space with personality and warmth.  

She is constantly searching for new design inspiration, whether it be traveling the world, or hiking her favorite mountain trail, there is always something to be found that sparks her imagination!
